Dynamic Cryptogram Mathematics

Every EMV transaction generates an Application Request Cryptogram (ARQC) incorporating transaction amount, currency code, terminal verification results (TVR), and the card's monotonic transaction counter. FinancialHSM derives the card's unique session key and verifies the ARQC in under 8 milliseconds.

Countering Card Cloning and Replay Attacks

By strictly enforcing monotonic Application Transaction Counter checks and verifying cryptographic message authentication codes (MACs), FinancialHSM completely neutralizes replay attacks and counterfeit card fraud.
